Description

    The GMC Yukon features a strong aluminum frame utilizinga floating beam suspension design, mated to a Zoom suspension fork with elastomer/spring technology. The Yukons drivetrain starts with Microshift twist shifters controlling Shimano’s tried and true TZ-30GS derailleur, and finishes up with a strong aluminum wheelset featuring a V-shape rim profile and high flange alloy hubs. Stopping is handled by Promax alloy V-brake front and rear, vastly superior to rim brakes especially under adverse road conditions. The bike is an outstanding ride, smooth, and definetely an eye catcher sort of like the Cadillac of Bikes. Easy to assemble with an Allen key and a pair of pliers.

I wanted a moderately priced mountain bike for the rough city streets and hills in the city I live in. The bike came lacking springs for the front brakes and a screw for the front reflector. The shifters are rough in changing until one gets used to what is needed. Overall I have had fun but wish the problems I encountered were quicker resolved. Kent bicycles will ship parts that are needed if something is missing or broken on the bike, that is the best thing about the customer service aspect. Once I get the bike back from the bike shop to change the front sprocket set and fix the brake in the front, I am going on a long ride.
